All new clients are to please complete a Client Enrolment Form which asks about your health, lifestyle and injuries. This form should ideally be completed and returned to us, by email or post, ahead of the first session to give us an indication of any issues so that a personalized program can be started. This first session will be an in-depth look at your posture, your joints i.e. range of motion, muscle imbalances, movement patterns and your existing breathing patterns.

The Client Enrolment Form also asks you to give your reasons for taking up Pilates. These reasons will be discussed at your first session so that we can effectively agree the main aims of your Pilates program. These aims will be regularly monitored to make sure that your program is helping you to achieve your goals.

If you have been referred by a medical practitioner, we would ask that we can consult with your practitioner on a regular basis and inform them of progress made and any problems encountered.

It should be noted that Pilates is not primarily a cardiovascular program and, although it has many benefits for the health of the heart, we do recommend that you participate in some aerobic exercise.




Since beginning her teaching in 2004, Judith knew that she would want to have her own Studio. In January 2009 the conversion to the loft in her home began and the Grand Opening for her clients took place in June. The Studio hasn’t looked back and has many regular clients who enjoy the benefits of the beautiful space. It is a light, airy, tranquil and practical space for working out in.

Whilst the Studio is mostly used for teaching 1:1 sessions on the large equipment that Joseph Pilates designed, that is the Reformer, Cadillac,Spine Corrector and Wunda Chair, it is also used for small Mat classes (maximum 4 clients) for those who are new to Pilates or those who want to train at a more advanced level.

Since Judith achieved her qualification as a REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals) Level 4 Instructor specialising in Low Back Pain, she now runs courses under the umbrella of the Back for Good Program for limited numbers (4). Many people suffer from non-specific lower back pain and the Back for Good Program is designed to target those who live with this condition and in some instances many will relieve their symptoms or at least learn to self manage their pain and continue with a normal life. Those who want to learn how to keep their backs safe should join a Healthy Backs class. Both classes have a maximum of 4 clients.
